Bought a Condo home in 2019 in Mid City, Los Angeles, CA.
I am a first-time home buyer and have had the best experience working with Austin. Prior to working with him, we set up a phone call to discuss whether we’d be a good fit for each other. He was very open and upfront, and we discussed what I was looking for, my timeline, what the process is like, how he gets compensated, how we would communicate with one another, and next steps. Austin clarified that his role as a realtor is to be his client’s ambassador, negotiator, and strategist and he operates from a place of trust and communication – all of which I have witnessed!
It took about 6 months from the time I first had my initial discussion with Austin to when I closed on my condo. Austin walked me step-by-step through every part of the home buying process starting with going to open houses. Whenever he could, Austin would physically attend the open houses with me, which made the post-viewing discussions easier. Austin never pressured me to go above my maximum budget and always had my best interest in mind. When we finally got to put an offer in, he walked me through the many contracts, counteroffers, and forms that needed to be signed. I appreciated that he helped me through difficult decisions whether it was to move forward/not move forward with a property or to decide on a competitive amount to offer. He kept me in the loop at every step of the process and answered the many questions I had. Austin also has connections with good inspectors, so the process of choosing which company to work with and getting services done is easy and good quality.
Austin’s best qualities are:
• Open and honest
• Clear and prompt communication through a variety of mediums (e.g. text, email, phone)
• Patient and will walk you through processes, contracts, actions needed (even multiple times!)
• Experienced realtor
• Will fight to get you the best offer on your home! I highly recommend working with Austin whether you’re a first-time home buyer or purchasing your next home!
